VE Commercial Vehicles sells 7181 units in January 2023

VE Commercial Vehicles Ltd. (A Volvo Group and Eicher Motors joint venture) recorded sales of 7181 units in January 2023 as compared to 5434 units in January 2022 recording a growth of 32.1%. This includes 6992 units of Eicher brand and 189 units of Volvo brand.

Following are the key highlights for January 2023:

• Eicher branded trucks & buses have recorded sales of 6992 units in January 2023 as compared to 5325 units in January 2022 representing a growth of 31.3%.
• In the domestic CV market, Eicher branded trucks & buses have recorded sales of 6791 units in January 2023 as compared to 4523 units in January 2022, representing a growth of 50.1%.
• On the Exports front, Eicher branded trucks & buses have recorded sales of 201 units in January 2023 as compared to 802 units in January 2022, representing a decline of 74.9%
• Volvo Trucks and Volvo Buses have recorded sales of 189 units in January 2023 as compared to 109 units in January 2022, representing a growth of 73.4%.
