VE Commercial Vehicles sells 6070 units in September 2021

VE Commercial Vehicles Ltd. (A Volvo Group and Eicher Motors joint venture) recorded sales of 6070 units in September 2021 (YTD 20940 units) as compared to 3506 units in September 2020 (LYTD 10296), recording growth of 73.1% (YTD growth 103.4%). This includes 6014 units of Eicher brand and 56 units of Volvo brand.

Following are the key highlights for September 2021:

• Eicher branded trucks & buses have recorded sales of 6014 units in September 2021 (YTD 20515 units), as compared to 3450 units in September 2020 (LYTD 10086 units), representing a growth of 74.3% (YTD growth of 103.4 %).
• In the domestic CV market, Eicher branded trucks & buses have recorded sales of 5226 units in September 2021 (YTD 16614 units) as compared to 2940 units in September 2020 (LYTD 8348), representing a growth of 77.8% (YTD growth of 99%).
• On the Exports front, Eicher branded trucks & buses have recorded sales of 788 units in September 2021 (YTD 3901 units) as compared to 510 units in September 2020 (LYTD 1738 units), representing a growth of 54.5% (YTD growth of 124.5%).
• Volvo Trucks and Volvo Buses have recorded sales of 56 units in September 2021 (YTD 425 units) as compared to 56 units in September 2020 (LYTD 210 units), representing a growth of 0% (YTD growth of 102.4%)
