VE Commercial Vehicles sells 5525 units in April 2022

VE Commercial Vehicles Ltd. (A Volvo Group and Eicher Motors joint venture) recorded sales of 5525 units in April 2022 as compared to 2145 units in April 2021 recording a growth of 157.6%. This includes 5416 units of Eicher brand and 109 units of Volvo brand.

Following are the key highlights for April 2022:

• Eicher branded trucks & buses have recorded sales of 5416 units in April 2022 as compared to 2096 units in April 2021 representing a growth of 158.4%.
• n the domestic CV market, Eicher branded trucks & buses have recorded sales of 4766 units in April 2022 as compared to 1555 units in April 2021, representing a growth of 206.5%. ? On the Exports front, Eicher branded trucks & buses have recorded sales of 650 units in April 2022 as compared to 541 units in April 2021, representing a growth of 20.1%
• Volvo Trucks and Volvo Buses have recorded sales of 109 units in April 2022 as compared to 49 units in April 2021, representing a growth of 122.4%.
