VE Commercial Vehicles sells 6753 units in March 2016, recording a robust growth of 50%

VE Commercial Vehicles Ltd. (A Volvo Group and Eicher Motors joint venture) has sold 6753 units in March 2016 as compared to 4503 units in March 2015 recording a growth of 50.0%. This includes 6633 units of Eicher brand and 120 units of Volvo brand.

The following are the key highlights for March 2016

• Eicher branded trucks and buses have recorded total sales of 6633 units in March 2016 as compared to 4401 units in March 2015, representing a growth of 50.7%.
• In the domestic CV market ( 5T and Above), Eicher branded tucks & buses have recorded sales of 5944 units in March 2016 as compared to 4084 units in March 2015, representing a growth of 45.5%
• On the Exports front Eicher branded tucks & buses have recorded sales of 689 units in March 2016 as compared to 317 units in March 2015, representing a growth of 117.4%.
• Volvo trucks have recorded sales of 120 units in March 2016 as compared to 102 units in March 2015, representing a growth of 17.6%.
