VE Commercial Vehicles sells 5032 units in February 2016, recording a robust growth of 57.3%

VE Commercial Vehicles Ltd. (A Volvo Group and Eicher Motors joint venture) has sold 5032 units in February 2016 as compared to 3200 units in February 2015 recording a growth of 57.3%. This includes 4936 units of Eicher brand and 96 units of Volvo brand.

The following are the key highlights for February 2016

• Eicher branded trucks and buses have recorded total sales of 4936 units in February 2016 as compared to 3100 units in February 2015, representing a growth of 59.2%.
• In the domestic CV market ( 5T and Above), Eicher branded tucks & buses have recorded sales of 4264 units in February 2016 as compared to 2774 units in February 2015, representing a growth of 53.7%.
• On the Exports front Eicher branded tucks & buses have recorded sales of 672 units in February 2016 as compared to 326 units in February 2015, representing a growth of 106.1%.
• Volvo trucks have recorded sales of 96 units in February 2016 as compared to 100 units in February 2015.
