VE Commercial Vehicles sells 6087 units in December 2017, recording a growth of 49.5%

VE Commercial Vehicles Ltd. (A Volvo Group and Eicher Motors joint venture) sold 6087units in December2017 as compared to 4071 units in December2016, recording a growth of 49.5%.This includes5955 units of Eicher brand and 132units of Volvo brand.

Following are the key highlights for December2017:

• Eicher branded trucks & buses have recorded a total sale of 5955 units in December 2017 (YTD 42120units) as compared to 3969units in December2016 (LYTD 40546 units), recording a growth of 50%.
• In the domestic CV market, Eicher branded trucks & buses have recorded sales of 5045units (YTD 36099 units) in December2017 as compared to 3269 units in December2016 (LYTD 34395 units) representing a growth of 54.3%
• On the Exports front, Eicher branded trucks & buses have recorded a total sale of 910units inDecember2017 (YTD 6021units) as compared to 700 units in December2016 (LYTD 6151units) representing a growth of 30%
• Volvo Trucks has recorded sales of 132 units in December2017 (YTD 707units) as compared to 102 units in December2016 (LYTD 738 units), recording a growth of 29.4%.
