VE Commercial Vehicles sells 5228 units in October 2017, recording a growth of 14.6%

VE Commercial Vehicles Ltd. (A Volvo Group and Eicher Motors joint venture) sold 5228units in October2017 as compared to 4560 units in October2016, recording a growth of 14.6%.This includes5166 units of Eicher brand and 62units of Volvo brand.

Following are the key highlights for October 2017:

• Eicher branded trucks & buses have recorded a total sale of 5166 units in October 2017 (YTD 31438units) as compared to 4449units in October2016 (LYTD 33512 units), recording a growth of 16.1%
• In the domestic CV market, Eicher branded trucks & buses have recorded sales of 4463units (YTD 26992 units) in October2017 as compared to 3854 units in October2016 (LYTD 28718 units) representing a growth of 15.8%.
• On the Exports front, Eicher branded trucks & buses have recorded a total sale of 703units in October2017 (YTD 4446units) as compared to 595 units in October2016 (LYTD 4794units) representing a growth of 18.2%
• Volvo Trucks has recorded sales of 62 units in October2017 (YTD 386units) as compared to 111 units in October2016 (LYTD 527 units).
